Clementon Park Has Closed Permanently and Is for Sale

Clementon Park & Splash World (Clementon, New Jersey) announced it’s permanently closed and that the property will be listed for sale. The last day of operation was September 7, 2026. The park was one of the oldest operating amusement parks and one of the 13 trolley parks still in operation.

The park shared the following message on its website and social media:

As we close out our 2026 season, we want to sincerely thank our guests, Season Passholders, team members and community for being part of another summer at Clementon Park & Splash World.

After five memorable years, we are saddened to announce that we have made the difficult decision to close the park and plan to offer the park for sale.

It has been a privilege to care for a place that has meant so much to generations of families. We are hopeful that we will find a buyer who shares our love for Clementon Park and will carry its history and legacy forward.

Additional details regarding the sale will be shared as they become available.

Thank you for the memories, the support and five wonderful seasons. We are truly grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey.

The Clementon Park & Splash World Team

IB Parks & Entertainment owns the Clementon Park & Splash World property. Earlier this year, IB Parks decided to close Niagara Amusement Park for the 2026 season.

Right now, the park and its attractions face an uncertain future. Most notably, the park is home to the Hellcat S&S hybrid wooden roller coaster. Most of the other rides can likely be sold and relocated.
