Niagara Amusement Park Closed for 2026 & Future Uncertain
Niagara Amusement Park & Splash World in Grand Island, New York, has announced it won’t be opening for the 2026 summer season.
In a statement released on April 30, 2026, IB Parks & Entertainment stated that attendance and revenue levels in recent seasons weren’t sufficient to sustain operating costs and continued investments. The list of FAQs on the park’s website notes that the current owners are evaluating future opportunities for the property.
The park is contacting and refunding season passholders. This year’s July 4th fireworks tradition will be hosted on the park property. If you have any questions, visit Niagara Amusement Park’s website.
IB Parks & Entertainment operates several regional amusement parks and water parks, including Indiana Beach, Lake Winnepesaukauh, Clementon Park & Splash World, and Sahara Sam’s.
