Kings Dominion’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Details – A Golden Summerbration
Kings Dominion has announced the details for its summer-long 50th anniversary celebration, A Golden Summerbration, which kicks off on Saturday, May 24th.
Here’s the full lineup of shows, entertainment, and experiences:
50 Years of Fun Street Party, starting June 13 – A street party with music from the past five decades, including a performance of the brand-new, original song “Right Here! Right Now!” to commemorate Kings Dominion’s 50th birthday.
Light the Night, starting May 24 – A nighttime visual experience on International Street every evening.
Singing Mushrooms – The animatronic mushrooms have a brand new set list for the 50th anniversary celebration.
Prism: The Ultimate Laser Show, June 13 to July 6 – A unique, family-friendly laser show at the Kings Dominion Theater.
Gazillion Bubble Show, July 12 to August 3 – A new show at the Kings Dominion Theater, featuring bubble artistry, stage magic, lasers, and creativity.
Kings Dominion Clown Band, starting May 24 – The famous zany band returns to Kings Dominion and will roam the park throughout the day.
Specialty Foods – Giant elephant ears, special funnel cakes, blue ice cream, and more specialty food items will be available at park restaurants. One of the featured items debuting soon is the Three by Land sandwich, a stacked sandwich made with chicken strips, a cheeseburger, and bacon.
