New Family Coaster Barracuda Strike Opening at SeaWorld San Antonio in 2026

SeaWorld San Antonio has officially announced that it’s adding a new family roller coaster in 2026.

Barracuda Strike will be 1800 feet long, have a 90-foot-tall lift hill, and reach a top speed of 44 MPH. The coaster, manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard (B&M), is the same model as Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf’s Revenge at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Phoenix Rising at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The model is B&M’s “Family Inverted Coaster.”

“Barracuda Strike is a game-changer for family thrill rides, and we are excited to bring another great roller coaster to our guests in the spring of 2026,” said Jeff Davis, SeaWorld San Antonio Park President. “It will be fast, fierce, and fun—bringing guests closer to the ocean’s energy and mystery in a way only SeaWorld can.”
