Kings Island Announces Soak City Updates for 2025
Kings Island has announced that they’ll be making upgrades to their Soak City water park in 2025. The updates will include Ohio’s first side-by-side dual racing water coaster called RiverRacers and a new kids’ play area called Splash River Junction.
On RiverRacers, guests will board side-by-side rafts, and then a conveyor belt launch will send them down a 33-foot, 47-degree drop. Giant windows will allow guests to see if they’re in the lead. The water coaster will be propelled by water jets along the way and reach a max speed of 30 mph. The ending features a “gravity-defying final mega drop.”
Splash River Junction will feature the Bluegill Lagoon swimmin’ hole with a water tower and Salamander Sliders – seven water slides geared toward younger guests.
